About Rocket Learning Center

Rocket Learning Center (RLC) is dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children ages 2 to 6 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). At RLC, we believe that every learner’s journey matters and deserves to be honored. By meeting each learner where they are and delivering compassionate, assent-based care, we help each learner “launch to success” in a way that is safe, respectful, and empowering.

Our team uses evidence-based practices that are thoughtfully tailored to each learner’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. We focus on teaching meaningful skills that promote independence, communication, and confidence, while reducing barriers that can make learning and daily activities challenging.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We partner closely with families and work alongside other providers—such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and Birth to Three teams—to ensure everyone is working together in your child’s best interest. At Rocket Learning Center, you can expect a supportive environment where your child is valued and where families are respected and included every step of the way.

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. It helps children learn important skills—like communication, social interaction, and daily living—while reducing behaviors that may get in the way of learning. ABA uses positive reinforcement, which means celebrating and rewarding progress to help skills grow over time. Therapy is individualized, so each child’s program is designed to meet their unique needs and build on their strengths. The goal of ABA is to help children become more independent, confident, and successful in their everyday lives.

During your child’s therapy sessions, we incorporate both Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET). DTT provides structured, focused learning opportunities, while NET helps your child practice skills naturally during play and everyday activities.

At Rocket Learning Center, we understand that skills taught in the clinic are only truly meaningful if your child can use them at home and in the community. That’s why we are committed to providing family guidance, so parents can become familiar with ABA concepts and feel confident using strategies to support their child’s progress in everyday situations.
