Founder and Clinic Director
Chelsey is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the founder of Rocket Learning Center. She created Rocket Learning Center to expand access to meet the growing need for quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services close to home in Sauk County. Rocket Learning Center reflects Chelsey’s belief that therapy should be meaningful for both the child and the family, and that caregivers play an essential role as active members of the therapy team.
Chelsey began her journey into ABA after graduating from Elmhurst University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy. She started her career as a Behavior Technician providing in-home ABA therapy to children in Sauk and Columbia Counties, where she developed a strong passion for early intervention and helping young children build functional communication skills. In 2018, Chelsey stepped into a mid-level supervisory role and continued advancing her clinical training. In 2020 she earned her Master of Arts in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA from Ball State University. After completing her supervised fieldwork and passing the national certification exam, she became a BCBA in 2021.
As both a clinician and a parent of a child with autism, Chelsey understands firsthand the challenges families face when searching for providers they can trust. Her clinical approach centers on compassionate, play-based ABA grounded in assent, with a strong focus on collaboration between families and other community providers to support meaningful progress for each child. Chelsey leads with empathy and respect, recognizing that every family’s journey is unique.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son, Parker, and their dog, Zuzu. She loves traveling, spending sunny days at the waterpark, and cheering on the Brewers during baseball season.
