At the start of services, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will meet with you and your child to get to know your family, learn about your child’s strengths, and talk about the goals you’d like to work toward together. The initial assessment usually takes about two hours and can be completed in one or two visits, depending on what works best for you.

Once the assessment is finished, the BCBA will create an individualized treatment plan designed to support your child’s unique needs and help them make meaningful progress. The plan will be reviewed with you so you feel comfortable and informed before it’s submitted to your insurance.

After therapy begins, the BCBA will continue monitor your child’s progress, and adjust goals as your child learns and grows. Every six months, we’ll complete a new assessment and update the treatment plan to help your child reach their goals.

1:1 Direct Therapy

Currently, Rocket Learning Center offers in-home ABA therapy in a one-on-one setting provided directly by a BCBA. Each session is designed to incorporate your child’s goals into play-based activities and everyday routines, making learning enjoyable and engaging. Whether your child is working on communication, social skills, or daily living tasks, the BCBA will create a positive, supportive environment where learning is fun. Our goal is to help your child build confidence and independence in a way that feels natural and motivating while giving you the tools to support learning beyond the therapy sessions.

In the future, RLC plans to open a clinic-based therapy model, where your child will have even more opportunities to learn and grow alongside their peers. The clinic environment will offer enriched social experiences, small group learning, and structured activities that help prepare your child for school and other community settings. Stay tuned for exciting updates as we grow. More information about our clinic location and enrollment will be coming soon!

Caregiver Meetings

Rocket Learning Center believes that families play a vital role in creating positive, lasting behavior change. That’s why we are dedicated to giving you the tools and support you need to help your child succeed.

Caregiver meetings are an important part of our services. During these meetings, you’ll learn practical ABA strategies you can use to make everyday life smoother outside of therapy. The BCBA will work with you to choose goals that matter most to your family and fit naturally into your routines.

Collaboration

Rocket Learning Center understands how important it is for all your child’s providers to work together. Whether your child is receiving speech therapy, occupational therapy, or Birth to Three services, we will coordinate with their team to ensure that everyone is working toward the same goals.

As your child gets ready to transition into school, our BCBA can also help you navigate the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process and support a smooth transition from therapy into the classroom. We’re here to partner with you every step of the way to make sure your child feels prepared and confident.
